Hi. I’m Ashley. A social media strategist with a passion for skydiving (and writing, obviously).

I started my journey in the skies with a tandem jump in April 2009 while on vacation – thinking it would be a one-time thrill. but before my feet were back on the ground after that first free fall I knew this was the sport for me.

As I continued my journey in the sky and the surrounding community, I found it natural to share my experiences, so the Skydive Chick blog was born. Skydiving is a sport that continues to challenge even the most experienced jumpers and there’s always something new to learn, in the sky and on the ground. As you’ll see I enjoy discussing the sport, but also the lessons from jumping out of airplanes that translate into life. Skydiving is my passion, but as you’ll hear me say more than once, variety is the spice of life so expect to hear about all my adventures from travel and music to technology and tattoos… and everything in between.

Most weekends you can find me at one of the local NY dropzones, or traveling around the country (hopefully one day the world) chasing my dreams in the air and on the ground.
